This could sound so coool :O
But the song is all sparked up with DISTORTION.
Number one enemy = distortion :P.
You can prevent this by lowering the overal volume, or lower the effects.
I dont use Garage band, so i can't you help any further :(

Um..... funny story the first loop at the beginning of the song was under the category DISTORTION -_-;. so I guess I'll submitted again without the distortion loop. so sorry about that it didn't seem that bad when my teacher herd it. I'll delete it when I replace that loop with something clear

Very good

This is a very good song indeed,
But just like brandon mentioned, your melody later in your song is a bit to much of a melody. Hardstyle used to have a very hard, but repetitive 'melody', that doesnt have so much notes.

Both me and brandon have remixed Kazm0's HardTrance [WiP] song, which are both very cool. this is a mix between hardstyle and trance.
Your song is some kind of HardTrance to. (but then even a bit harder).

My second critic point is that the bass isnt syncropating with the melody.
You should make a cool bassline that supports the melody. cause its the same tone and octave all the time now.

Furthermore this song is damn good, and maybe it could be a weekly top 5.
It sure needs some mastering and changes though. :)

It's a remix of my country's traditional Song. It's very melodic, i know. (: That's why the name is weird. The original song is actually slow and rhythmic, played with traditional instruments. It is very nice. :D

I love DJ Nate - Intercept his club bass.
This song reminded me of nate's song.
I will try some stuff with that osc soon, (however i dont have a clue how that thing works ).

The song sure is fit for an action paced game / video / classic operah ?.

Awesome, thanks much for the review. I'm really happy that you're feeling my music.

About 3xosc, That little synth is amazing in its versatility, just don't expect it do do much without a little help. The trick with making kicks and such with it is that I made it just hit a long tone with the right sound, then exported it with the kick drum and put a volume envelope on both, then exported it again an put effects on it. In the end, they end up sounding like a single kick, it just took a lot of melding to get it that way.

I suppose if you have experience in a more versatile synth like sytrus then it might be quicker to use that and bypass the need for an external envelope, but I've done more in 3xosc and I'm more comfortable with my methods, however backwards and inefficient they are, haha.

I love that synth, had a hard time to find some usefull criticm, but here is one :

I concluded that your kick needs some improvement.
The kick is not very hard, and it lacks bass ?.
You could fix this with making a transition kick out of your real one.

(I learned that today :P)

transition kick = some kind of intro kick to introduce your kicks.
Like i did with my song when you heared the first kick.
It will make your kick more 'present' and more finished.
you can do that by reversing the kick, and adding some pre delay and room size.
both can be found in the Reeverb plugin. (FL)
Perhaps you need to edit some things with the edison though.

No probs man. Thanks for the advice, I'll probably fix up the kicks and stuff.

Maybe whip up some effects. I'll probably change the bass around, since I don't really like it 100% either. Glad you liked the lead, it's like a mix of um SimSynth, Pro 53 and nexus.

Yeah the melody was pretty easy to figure out. I mean the only time consuming part of that is well.. adjusting the timing of the notes. And I'm pretty used to doing that.

I tried to make a good hard club kick but I think it still needs more work. It doesn't have the thump to it.

The bass makes it tough, but the melody makes it very pleasant.

Try to listen to other songs you like before making an own melody,
You will be more inspired.

And for the beats,.... THEY ROCK !!.
You have an awesome rythm feeling, and a good skill.
You could try to make Drum 'n bass songs !!.

Its fantastic :D

it has great synths, and an even better kick !!!.
it only misses a good bass.
ill give you a hint (not that im great at making basslines, but ohwel :P)
You could try to use the Fruity Oscillator (OSC3X).
Its far the best plugin for FL to make basslines.
Try some things with it, and taste its power :P.
i used it for my latest song, but it did not turned out very well xD.

Thats a very good melody :O good synths, good choise of synths.
I agree with LK412 that you play with the filter a bit to much.
its better to let it develop very slowly for only ONE time :).

oh and i have another suggestion for you, add some bass.
the kick is cool, but needs to be supported with a bass.

Nice :O

It sure is cool :D. it has a very catching melody, and is supported with a very cool synth. there are 2 things that annoyed me though. the first one is the raising volume when you do an equalizer filter. i need to lower my speaker volume when thats happening xD.

second one is the variation in your song. it does variate with 3 diffrent melodies, but the synth remains the same. that gets quite boring after 2 minutes, and cant be fixed by changing the equalizer. you should bring in another synth halfway the song.

furthermore this rocks and deserves to be in the top 10 of dance,
(just like my song xDxD cough.. )

that was when I had thought messing with the main equalizer settings sounded cool... I filter differently now... and hopefully without any accidental volume adjustments :P
